We envision an Internet freed from the shackles of premium pricing of the large carriers, and made available through an entirely new building-level delivery model.
This will benefit those who need it most, the low-income families, seniors, First Nations, and any other disadvantaged Canadians across the board.
Mission
Facilitating the Age of Community-Owned Networks
The Internet is too important to Canadian lives to be controlled by and dependent on too few large carriers in Canada.
Many disadvantaged fixed-income individuals and families are unable to afford current rates for acceptable Internet performance as part of their daily lives.
Since most administrators are unaware of this issue and simply believe that the residents are ‘on their own’ when it comes to residents’ internet woes, our mission is to consult & educate that CO-OP Internet is even possible!
Ultimately our mission is to bring change from that of the pricey carrier services model to that of ‘Building CO-OP-owned’ model for the ‘have-nots’ residents.
